Updating Sims

Re-installing Sims and checking for updates

(This only works in school)

Every Quarter Sims requires an update which unless completed causes you to receive and "Incompatible database" error and this in turn prevents you from loading Sims

Sims Updates in Theory are automatic but we often find this is not the case and we often have to manually update your computer.

One way to do this yourself is shown below:

Please Double click the 

icon on the bottom right of your screen (By the clock)

And you should see the following:

Click on “Applications”

And you will see “Sims Workstation” – Click on “Check for update” then click Yes

Sims will be re-installed for you.

The process will take no more than 10 minutes,
