Requesting new software

Requesting new or additional software.

When you require new or additional software be installed you will need to log this via the IThelpdesk email address ithelpdesk@cardiffhigh.cardiff.sch.uk 

Please note that when you request software we will require the following:

1. if the software is to be purchased how many computers are you going to want the software installed on? (This is important as when negotiating costs the supplier will ask this question)

2. Is the software replacing an outdated application ? if so which one?

3. would you like us to arrange a trial for you ? 

4. if the software is open source do you know if it is used in another school ? (To see how reliable it has been)

5. know what funds are available to fund the initial purchase then anything ongoing or renewal / update for a future release. 

Please understand some applications are quick and easy to deploy, whilst others take much longer so we will come back to you as soon as we are able to!
